Certified Asthma Educators (AE-C)

The cornerstone of asthma care is an active partnership between health-care providers and patients who have asthma. Alpine Allergy and Asthma achieves this partnership through education provided by Dr. McCormick accompanied by the individual education provided by our 5 Certified Asthma Educators (AE-C).

To earn the privilege to use AE-C behind their name each applicant is required to have spent a minimum of 1000 hours caring for patients with asthma and are required to pass The National Asthma Education Certification Examination.  

At present there are approximately 2700 certified asthma educators in the United States.
